EL RENO JUNIOR HIGH RALLIES PAST CHICKS
BY GLEN MILLER
Edition:Sunday, March 14, 2010

El Reno's Junior High varsity baseball team scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning last week to rally for a 6-5 win over Chickasha.
The win lifted El Reno to 1-1 on the season and in the Suburban Junior High Conference standings.
Down 5-4 entering their last at bats, the Indians got a walk and stolen base from Brady Lippoldt. Mason Archer singled and went to third base when a throw to home, trying to get Lippoldt, was wide.
Tied at 5-all, Archer scored the game-winning run on a single by Conner Howard.
Howard had a single back in the fourth inning and was one of three El Reno runners to score in that frame along with Jake Dye and Cal Baker.
Archer reached on an error in the first inning and later scored.
Dye started the game on the hill, scattering four runs, a hit and four walks over four innings. The right-hander fanned two batters.
Levi Jones threw one inning, issuing a run off a hit and three walks.
