Funeral services for Margie A. (Ervin) Hargrove Lacy of Yukon were held Friday, July 23, 2010, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Clagg, pastor of First Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the El Reno Cemetery.
Mrs. Lacy died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, in her home. She was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Stuart. Margie had lived in Gracemont, Louisiana and El Reno before moving to Yukon where she had resided since. She was a homemaker and a former member of the VFW and American Legion, and attended the Baptist church. She loved to embroidery, cross-stitch and make floral arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henery Etheridge and Sadie Lorene (Eurie) Ervin; two husbands, Elvin Hargrove and Paul Lacy; four brothers, Bud, Bill, Claude and Melvin Ervin; four sisters, Lorene Callahan, Patsy Korocy and Shirley and Juanita Ervin.
Survivors include a son, Tom Hargrove and wife, Rebecca of El Reno; four daughters, Debra Hargrove of Yukon, Loraine Harris and husband, Earl of El Reno, Kay Welch and husband, Clayton of Dallas, Texas, and Barbara Stalsby and husband, Frankie of Yukon; a sister, Darlene Hoehner of Wanette; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; a very special friend, Ellishitt “Buss” Hitt of Sickles; and numerous other relatives and friends.
