El Reno High School junior Maureen Lewis remained in the hunt for a state medal after the first two rounds of the 2007 Oklahoma State High School Girls Tennis Championships held at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.

Begins at 8 p.m. Saturday at historic Fort Reno, 7107 W. Cheyenne St.

Geary’s Rock of Restoration Church is sponsoring a benefit ride and motorcycle giveaway. The last riders will start the trek at 9 a.m. May 19.

The ride will last 2 1/2 to three hours. Afterward, there will be entertainment, dinner and a 2007 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster giveaway takes place at 6:30 p.m.

Cost for the ride is $25 for one rider and $30 for two. Tickets for the giveaway are $10 each or seven tickets for $50. Proceeds will benefit Amber Knight Brewster, an El Reno resident who is facing a kidney transplant.
