Two hunter education courses will be offered in Canadian County. The first will be Aug. 18-19 at Piedmont’s First Baptist Church. The second will be Aug. 25-26 at the El Reno VFW. Saturday classes will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday classes will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Students must attend both days and bring two pencils. Course materials will be provided free of charge.

El Reno Public Schools will offer physicals for all sports at 10 a.m. Aug. 4. The physicals will be given at the EHS football locker room at Memorial Stadium. Physicals will run $20 per athlete and must be paid prior to examination.
