The Mustang/Yukon area La Leche League will meet at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Chisholm Trail Presbyterian Church, 801 W. Vandament in Yukon.

La Leche League is dedicated to providing education, support, information and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Topics to be discussed this month will include starting solids, nutrition and weaning. Mothers, babies and mothers-to-be are welcome.

Canadian Valley Technology Center will help area eighth-graders sort through their choices during Career Quest on Thursday night.

The event is aimed at El Reno and Yukon students and is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the tech center’s El Reno campus at 6505 E. Highway 66. Most area schools are offering students extra credit for attending.
