In the 2006-2007 school year, El Reno’s student to teacher ratio was 15.6, slightly better than the state average of 16.7 and 16.1 reported by other similar school districts, according to the Profiles 2007 District Report released by the Office of Accountability earlier this week.

According to reports, the hospital currently owes $492,000 on a line of credit. In April the hospital board approved expanding the line of credit to a maximum of $850,000.

Backyard paradises highlighted by tour

If someone had told Steve and Alex Maddox six years ago they would be a part of the 2008 El Reno Garden Tour, “I would have laughed in their face,” Steve Maddox said.
The El Reno natives bought their home at 515 S. Hoff Ave. in 1999 and for the past seven years they have been converting their “mud puddles” into a functional paradise that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
“Everything we do back here, we try to do so it is functional,” Alex Maddox said. “We use this every day.”
