Friday-Sunday: “The Importance of Being Earnest”

The Stage Door Theater in Yukon concludes the 2006-2007 season with a classic comedy by Oscar Wilde, “The Importance of Being Earnest.” The production is directed by a newcomer to The Stage Door, Karyn Garcia, drama teacher at Mustang North Middle School.

Shows are set for May 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 8 p.m. and May 6 and 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by calling The Stage Door at 265-1590. Leave a detailed message with the date you want to attend and the number of seats you need and someone will return your call.

9 a.m. Sunday: Friendship Connection

First Assembly of God in El Reno will host a Friendship Connection starting at 9 a.m. May 6. Activities will include:

9 a.m.-10:15 a.m. Gourmet coffee bar, hot chocolate, cinnamon rolls.

9:30 a.m.-10:25 a.m. Bible study for all ages

10:30 a.m. Concert with Ric Gordon, Christian entertainer/comedian

Noon: Free meal, ice cream sundaes for dessert, and fun outside activities for the kids.

12:30 p.m. Friday: La Leche League meeting
Start: 12:30 pm

The Mustang/Yukon La Leche League group will meet at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Chisholm Trail Presbyterian Church, 801 W. Vandament in Yukon. The group will discuss the advantages of breastfeeding for the mother and baby.

Any interested mothers or mothers-to-be and babies are invited to attend.
