The Calumet community, in conjunction with the Oklahoma Blood Institute, will conduct a blood drive Monday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Calumet High School.

Donors giving blood at this drive can enter to win a seven-night eastern Caribbean cruise for two. Every donor will receive a free “Help Someone Survive Spring Break” T-shirt while supplies last, free health check readings and Members For Life points redeemable for gift cards, merchandise, health testing and more in the OBI online store.

Donors must present a photo ID.

Canadian County resident Reggie Cervantes will host a showing of Michael Moore’s documentary “Sicko” during the Canadian County Democrats meeting March 11. The meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. at Canadian Valley Technology Center.

Redlands Community College will get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit a little earlier with a concert at 6:30 p.m. March 12.

The Counterfeit Bards will offer a mix of Celtic and Renaissance folk music in RCC’s Culture Center Theatre. Shows generally consist of rousing sing-alongs from Ireland, tragic ballads from Scotland, lively dance tunes from English Renaissance, Celtic tunes and more. The five-person group has performed across the state and the Midwest at medieval and renaissance fairs, ethnic and cultural events and more.
