The Canadian County Health Fair is set for Friday at Redlands Community College.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in RCC’s Occupational Therapy Building. Information will be available on a variety of topics ranging from nutrition to diabetic education to the health benefits of video games. Participants can also get their vital signs checked at no charge, and local vendors will be on hand to provide information about their services.

El Reno Community Chorus will present “A Celebration of Song” Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Redlands Community College Cultural Center.

There will be a special guest performance by the Mustang Trails Honor Choir. Tickets may be purchased from any chorus member or at the door.

An Indian taco benefit supper for Elizabeth Lair of El Reno will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church, 400 S. Barker. Donations will be accepted and entertainment will be provided throughout the evening. To-go orders are available by calling 262-3539.

An organist and pianist for 36 years, Lair is choir director at First Christian, and often accompanies band students at contests. She is a member of the Damrosch Music Club and the Community Chorus.

Lair has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
