Minco’s newest horse ranch will hold its grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Triple Cross Ranch, 1208 NE Johnson Road.

The 60-acre ranch off U.S. Highway 81 will host a junior rodeo, children’s area, a team roping clinic and barrel racing clinic to kick off the grand opening nearly a year in the making.

Kathy Menz said she and the staff at the ranch have been working hard since last year’s tornado to put the place back together.

The Thunder is scheduled to roll through El Reno on Sunday as hundreds of motorcyclists from across the nation enter Oklahoma on their trek to Washington, D.C., to honor America’s fallen soldiers.
