An El Reno road officially changed names Wednesday to honor a local businessman, according to a city press release.

Industrial Park Avenue was renamed the T.L. Moore Parkway. Terry Lee Moore was “an invaluable contributor to the public safety sector in the El Reno area,” according to the release. Moore, who owned Moore Towing, died in August.

The rechristened road is in the Canadian Valley Industrial Park. The El Reno City Council approved the name change in October.
