Feb 12 2007 - 7:00pm
The Redlands Republican Women’s Club is inviting all Democrats and Republicans to their next club meeting to hear prominent women state leaders discuss the differences between their respective parties. Dana Murphy, vice chair of the Oklahoma State Republican Party, will represent her party. State Sen. Judy Eason McIntyre, Democrat from Tulsa, will then present the philosophy of the Democrat Party and why she has chosen to be a Democrat. “I hope anyone interested in understanding the differences between our two major political parties will plan on attending our meeting,” said Sen. Kathleen Wilcoxson, R-Oklahoma City, president of the local Republican Women’s Club. “We think everyone will have a fun evening.” The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Mustang Police Station, located on Highway 152 between Sara Road and Mustang Road.
