Obituaries for Dec. 25, 2005Murray, Travis Dale (paid) Travis was born the son of Jack Murray and Tina Long Murray on Dec. 20, 1973, in El Reno. He died Dec. 20, 2005, in Chickasha. He grew up in Pocasset and graduated from Am-Po High School in 1992. He attended Redlands Community College for a year. He married Kelli Kuykendall on July 31, 1993, in Pocasset. After their marriage, they moved to Fort Smith, Ark., for five years. In 1998 they moved back to Chickasha. He began working for Chickasha Manufacturing in 2002. Travis loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and playing other instruments. He enjoyed coaching his boys baseball and football teams. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Harriet Long, grandfather, J.C. Murray, and grandparents, Raymond and Betty Chandler. He is survived by his wife, Kelli of the home; sons, Seth Brayden Murray and Blaine Douglas Murray of the home; mother and husband, Tina and Earl Chandler of Pocasset; father and wife, Jack and Cathy Murray of Rogers, Ark.; sister and husband, Angela and Mike Merrell of Pocasset; brother and wife, Chad and Shawna West of Elgin; sister and husband, Jennifer and Michael Kelley of Rogers; brother, Tom Murray, and sister, Jackie Murray, both of Rogers; grandmother, Barbara Murray of Porum; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Peel, Chanel Mrs. Peel died Tuesday at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1979, in Pasadena, Texas. She is a graduate of El Reno High School and received an associates degree in arts and psychology from Oklahoma City Community College. She is survived by her husband, Sean; parents, Bobby and Donna Ott of Okarche and Norma and Richard Moore of Braxton, Miss.; brother, Shawn Ott of El Reno; sister, Laci Ott of Okarche; grandparents, Beulah Ott of Alvin, Texas, Jean Garza of Braxton, Miss., Francis Bond of El Reno and B.R. and Donna Nusz of Yukon; and great-grandfather, L.L. Bond of El Reno. Pike, Helen Mrs. Pike died Thursday at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. Schiffman, Leonard Mr. Schiffman died Thursday at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. |
