El Reno is one of the numerous stops this spring for the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative 2007 “All About Us” tour. Local coordinator, Rev. Eddie Stark of First Church of the Nazarene, said the workshop will be held here on April 28 but the location is still being worked out. Workshop leaders teach couples a research-based marriage education curriculum titled Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program, or PREP. Workshop participants will learn how to improve communication, manage conflict effectively and keep the love alive. All OMI workshops are free and allow couples, whether married or thinking about marriage, the opportunity to improve their marriages and relationships. The workshop is open to everyone, men and women, married, engaged, dating or single. Engaged couples who attend and complete the workshop are eligible for a discount on their marriage license, paying only $5 for an Oklahoma marriage license.
