Obituaries for January 1, 2006Abrahamson, Sherry Mrs. Abrahamson died Wednesday in Madill. She was born Jan. 17, 1952, in Durant. She grew up in Madill and later moved to El Reno, where she graduated in 1970. She moved back to Madill in 1993. She was a member and worked for the Choctaw Tribe. She is survived by her husband, Garry of the home; daughter, Kendra Blevins of Broken Arrow; sons, Kyle Abrahamson of Tulsa and Klynt Abrahamson of Madill; parents, Aaron and Martha Dry of Madill; and one granddaughter. Clemons, Chance Chance died Tuesday at Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Thalia Carnes, and father, David Clemons; two brothers and one sister; grandmother, Deloris Newton of Minco, grandfather, David Carnes of New Mexico, and grandmother and step-grandfather, Donna and Bob McCormick. Everhart, Clifford Mr. Everhart died Wednesday at Parkview Hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1954, in Torrence, Calif. He spent his early years in California and Missouri, graduating from high school in Joplin, Mo., in 1972. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology and was employed as a U.S. marshal. He is survived by his wife, Cindy of the home; a son, Charles II of Oklahoma City; his mother, Dee Froman of Clinton; sisters, Sharon Hull of Clinton and Julie Brunson of Albuquerque; stepdaughter, Dana Anuschat of Geary; stepson, David Atkinson of Lubbock, Texas; and two granddaughters. Kouba, Veldon Leroy (paid) Burial will be in El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mr. Kouba died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at his home. He was born on June 16, 1940, in El Reno, Okla., to Henry John and Bernadell (Wise) Kouba. He was a lifelong resident of El Reno. After graduating from El Reno High School, he graduated from OSU Tech in Okmulgee, Okla. He married Virginia Lee Brooks on Sept. 21, 1963, in El Reno. He worked for Arnold Monument Company and later he and Virginia became the owner and operator. Mr. Kouba was a member of Heaston Community Church and Oklahoma Buckle Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kouba and father, Henry John Kouba. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Kouba and wife, Angela of El Reno, and Allen Kouba of the home; mother, Bernadell “Bonnie” (Wise) Kouba of Coweta; sisters, JoAnn Bomhoff and husband, Earnie of El Reno and Kathleen Chance of Coweta; four grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ryan, Rhett and Raelyn. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations be made to American Cancer Society, 6525 N. Meridian Ave., Suite 110, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Mattox, Rosa Nell Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mowery, James Doyle (paid) Mr. Mowery died Dec. 27, 2005, at his home in Greers Ferry, Ark. He was born May 17, 1939, in Geary, the son of Doyle Britton and Phoebe (Richardson) Mowery. He was raised in El Reno and was a graduate of El Reno High School and Southwestern Business University in Houston. He was a retired superintendent of the car department with the Belt Railway Company of Chicago. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Greers Ferry. He married Edna Rader on Feb. 10, 1967, in Kingfisher. She survives him in death. He is also survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Tammera Mowery of Crown Point, Ind., Jon and Lisa Mowery of Long Beach, Calif., and Jim and Catherine Mowery of Albion, Ind.; brother, Thomas Mowery, and sisters, Pat Henson and Phoebe Shedd, all of El Reno; and four grandsons, Michael, Christopher, Jimmy and Alex Reimer, Norman Mr. Reimer died Thursday at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1933, in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1951. He moved to eastern Oklahoma in the Earlsboro area and was a dairy farmer for a short time. He moved back to Clinton in 1958 and farmed until his retirement in 1995. He recently moved to El Reno. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corn. He is survived by daughters, Yonnie Murphy of Penryn, Calif., and Sherilyn Bohannon of Yukon; a son, Jim Reimer of El Reno; sisters, Lorene Flaming, Phyllis Sawatzky and Wanda Goossen, all of Clinton; brother, Bert Reimer of Clinton; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Walker, Ronnie L. 'Ronnie' (paid) Mr. Walker died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at his home. He was born May 11, 1946, in El Reno. He was a graduate of El Reno High School and was a lifetime El Reno area resident. Mr. Walker had worked for the Rock Island Railroad for 13 years from 1967 through 1980. He was the owner of Walker Plumbing from 1982 to 2002 when he retired, passing the business to his son, Tony, who is the current owner/operator of Walker Plumbing. He was a former member of the Elks and had attended Life Community Church in El Reno. Ronnie married Linda K. Wilkerson on June 26, 1965, and to this union a son, Gary, was born, and he has three sons, Ty, Blake and Drew Walker. Ronnie married Linda Ruth Haas on May 29, 1969, and to this union was born two sons, Tony and Brian Walker. Tony has four sons, Jacob, Kyler, Kolby and Kooper Walker, and his wife, B.J. Ronnie married Susie Gean Ray on Dec. 14, 1991, in Las Vegas. Susie has three sons, Shannon Vculek and wife, Heather, and their children, Kalee and Raven Vculek; Lance Heger and wife, Whitney, and their children, Waylon, William and Westin Heger; and Jarad Heger and wife, Amanda, and their son, Christian Heger. He is also survived by three brothers, Albert Walker Jr. of Eufaula, William Thomas “Tom” Walker of Yukon and Terry Lee Walker of El Reno; and numerous other relatives and friends. |
