Sunday through Wednesday: Old-Fashioned Country Revival

Cowboy evangelist Rev. John Barrett will be guest preacher for an old-fashioned revival to be held Sunday through April 18 at Mount Zion United Methodist Church. Services begin nightly at 7 p.m. and Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. Every-one is invited to attend. Featured during the revival will be Barrett meeting with children kindergarten through sixth grade each evening at 6:30 p.m. The junior and senior high youth will gather for youth night on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. with an hour of praise and worship music for all ages led by guest musicians, The Chickasha Praise Band. Special music will be held nightly at 7 p.m. Other guest musicians include Judy Horne of Oklahoma City on Monday and Gene Stroman of El Reno on Tuesday. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the evening services. Barrett is an evangelist in the New Mexico United Methodist Conference. He was born and raised in Georgia and has been in ministry for 21 years. Mount Zion church is located off Highway 81 north of El Reno six miles north and two miles east.
