The Opportunities Inc. Head Start program is taking applications for enrollment at the El Reno Head Start Center, 500 N. Admire, on April 26 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and April 27 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Parents or guardians must bring verification of income such as W-2 forms, 1040 form, a current TANF card, three current consecutive paycheck stubs or an employer’s statement, along with the child’s birth certificate and Social Security card. The Head Start program is for 3- and 4-year-old children whose families meet federal income guidelines and for children with disabilities. Children selected for enrollment must have documentation that their immunizations are up to date or are in the process of getting them. Parents enrolling their children in the pre-kindergarten program may also choose to submit an application for enrollment in Head Start.
