Friday: Youth and Family Services benefit golf tournament

All golfers should mark their calendars for April 27 when Youth and Family Services will host the 13th annual benefit Golf Classic at Kingfisher Golf Club.
Registration for the four-man golf scramble will be 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Various sponsorship levels are available. Cost for a team is $300, or $75 for individual players. Prizes will be awarded during the tournament. Fees include green fees, cart rental and lunch following the tournament.
Entrants should pre-register by Friday by calling 262-6555 or by fax at 262-6557. All proceeds will benefit the new facility and shelter under construction now between El Reno and Yukon on state Highway 66. Organizers are in the final phase of the capital campaign for the Donald W. Reynolds Caring Center.
Over the past five years, YFS has provided free emergency shelter to more than 1,400 young people and free counseling services to more than 3,000 individuals and families.
YFS has served youth and families in Blaine, Canadian and Kingfisher counties for 31 years.
