Obituaries for Oct. 26, 2005Collins, Noveline Graveside services for Noveline Faye Collins were held Saturday at the Pocasset Cemetery with Rev. Leon McDowell officiating. Services were under direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard. Mrs. Collins died Thursday. She was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Shawnee and attended school in Shawnee. She was an El Reno resident for 40 years and member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She is survived by a daughter, Sandy Cantrell of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Margie Barnum of Henderson, Nev.; and three grandchildren. Donnell, Juliana Graveside services for Juliana Courtney Donnell were held today in the El Reno Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Womack officiating. Services were under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. She is survived by her mother, Casie Basford, and her father, Jesse Donnell, both of El Reno; a brother, Christian Basford, and a sister, Jezebel Donnell; grandparents, Barbara Basford of Cogar, James and Sherry Donnell and Barbara Donnell, all of El Reno; great-grandparents, Willard and Juanita Gordon of Cogar and Ella Courtney of El Reno; and great-great-grandparents, James and Elva Eason of El Reno. McCray, Delma Funeral services for Delma Lloyd McCray of Oklahoma City were held today at Brook-wood Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Gilbert officiating. Burial was in the El Reno Cemetery under direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Reeves, Kneeles M. (paid) Funeral services honoring Kneeles M. Reeves were held Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Quail Springs Baptist Church. Kneeles, a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, quietly went home to be with his Lord on Oct. 21, 2005, after a long courageous battle with chronic illness. He was a good and faithful servant, always serving others and remaining humble to the end. Kneeles was born May 1, 1921, in Mena, Ark. As a young man he moved to Chickasha where he met and later married Louise Marie Hendrickson. Kneeles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a man of many talents, early he was a machinist and a professional photographer, later a master chef and baker to his family and business patrons in El Reno and Poteau. Kneeles’ 15 minutes of fame came when he appeared in scenes of the 1988 Academy Award-winning movie “Rainman” that was filmed at his motel in El Reno. This gentle man will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Kneeles was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and by his first wife of 58 years, Louise. He leaves behind the empty hearts of his wife, Margaret; his daughter and son-in-law, LaDonna and Mat Mathews of Gainesville, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law, Myron and Lynn Reeves of Bethany; brother, Buster Reeves; grandchildren, Alan and Bridgette Joy, Sherry and Eric Wright and Blake Reeves; great-grandson, Derek and Siera Joy; great-great-grandchildren, Cassie and Taylor Joy; stepson and wife, Michael and Kathy Threet; stepdaughter and husband, Michelle and Luis Soto; grandchildren, Tyler, Bradley and Kristen; and many, many loved ones and friends. Rott, Helen Mrs. Rott died Saturday at Bellevue Health and Rehab Center in Oklahoma City. She was born Nov. 14, 1921, north of Yukon. A lifetime resident of the Yukon area, she was a member of the Order of Rainbow, obtaining Worthy Advisor. She served as president of the Yukon Parent Teacher Association, president of the Vocal Music Parents Organization, was a 4-H leader and supporter of the Yukon FFA. She was also a stockholder of the Banner and Okarche co-ops. She is survived by sons, Frank Rott and John Rott; daughters, Jo Ann Rott and Judy Reilly; sisters, Dorothy Kouba and Pat Rickard; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. |
