Her greatest love was for her family and her many close friends. She will be sadly missed as she said, “Always think of the good times.” “Me Ma’s Kitchen” was always open for her grandkids and their friends during lunch and after school. Her love for everyone always showed when she was there to baby-sit, read endless stories, play countless games and was a big supporter at concerts, recitals, graduations and sporting events. She always had a smile and kind words for everybody. The family wishes to thank all those involved in providing excellent care and comfort in her last months. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at 10 a.m. at the El Reno Cemetery with Cliff Johnson presiding. Friends may call at Wilson’s Funeral Home. When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little — but not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love we once shared. Miss me — but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone. It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me — but let me go. We love and miss her, but have to let her go. Mackey, Melvin Mr. Mackey died Tuesday at his home. He was born April 23, 1934, in Minco and was a 1952 graduate of Minco High School.
