Two singing groups of Youngs will combine their talents during a concert of gospel music on Sunday at First Free Will Baptist Church, 1505 W. Elm. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. and will consist of mostly southern gospel music with a few church hymns included.

The Young Brothers Trio features twins, John Jo and Waldo Young, and their brother, Homer Young. Homer and Waldo formerly sang with the Ministers Quartet for 43 years.

Homer is pastor of First Free Will Baptist Church in Chickasha. Waldo is pastor of the Northwest Free Will Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. John Jo is the music director and a deacon at the View of the Cross First Free Will Baptist Church in Prague.

John’s wife, Nelma, and Waldo’s wife, JoAnn, join their husbands to form a quartet called the Four Youngs, and will also be performing during the concert.
