The Oklahoma Community Orchestra will join the Central Oklahoma Ballet to bring a holiday classic to life this weekend.

“The Nutcracker” will be staged at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Yukon Fine Arts Auditorium, 850 Yukon Avenue. Tickets are available in advance at all Yukon National Bank locations in Yukon, Mustang and Oklahoma City as well as the MidFirst Bank at the Yukon Wal-Mart and Ross Seed Company in El Reno. Advance tickets are $10 per person. Tickets are available for $12 at the door before each performance.
The 70-member Oklahoma Community Orchestra, conducted by Dr. John Fletcher, will perform the complete score of Peter Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.”

Dancers from the Tulsa Ballet and the University of Central Oklahoma will join in the performance.
