In the wake of the ice storm, chances to win some extra Christmas money will still be tested on Thursday.

The second Main Street Bucks Drawing is still scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at Petree Plaza, said Main Street Director Codie Lee-Finnigan.

“The drawing is for a total of $2,000,” she said. “Five of the winners will receive $200 in Main Street Bucks and two will get $500.”

The Main Street Bucks Program rewards anyone who shops in the Main Street district using a participating merchant, Lee-Finnigan said.

Lee-Finnigan said Gilmore’s Kitchen will remain open for participants to eat after the drawing and several other participating merchants will remain open until 8 p.m. Participants in the drawing must be present to win.
