Obituaries for Nov. 2Flagg, John Frank (paid) Mr. Flagg died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 20, 1934, in El Reno to his parents, Clarence Raymond and Effie May (Smith) Flagg. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was retired from the American Can Company in California where he was employed for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Flagg. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Flagg of the home; a son, John Kenneth Flagg and wife, Dana of Wichita, Kan.; daughters, Deborha Christie of Albuquerque, N.M., Dollie Hicks and Diane Jones and husband, Loran, all of El Reno; brother, Tom Flagg and wife, Jean of California; twin sister, Jean Priefert and husband, Mardy of Nebraska; sister, Ann Storey of El Reno; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sanchez, Leo Jr. Mr. Sanchez died Saturday at his home. He was born Aug. 12, 1947, in El Reno. He at-tended Sacred Heart Catholic School. A lifetime Canadian County area resident, he was employed with the city of El Reno and town of Calumet, as well as a volunteer firefighter. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; children, Peggy Everett, Johnny Sanchez and Larry Holt, all of Calumet, Susan Williams of El Reno and Melody Robertson of Oklahoma City; sisters, Rosie Solis of Pleasanton, Texas, Patricia Halbert of El Reno, Jessie Lambaria and Carmen Gonzales, both of Flint, Mich., and Nancy Walters of Calumet; 26 grandchildren and one great-grandson. |
