Colbert, Simeon
Funeral services for Simeon Dayon Colbert will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jenks Simmons Field House with Rev. Paul Roach officiating. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery under direction of Russworm Funeral Home of Watonga.

Mr. Colbert died Wednesday at Integris Baptist Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1978, in Okarche. He grew up in El Reno and attended El Reno schools, Northeastern College and Eastern College in Michigan on football scholarships.

He is survived by sons, Reese and Logan Colbert of the home; his mother, Jerry Sue Colbert; brothers, Brandon, Shannon and wife, Stephanie, and Danon and wife, Kimberly, all of El Reno; and his grandmother, Irish Colbert of El Reno.

Estep, Charles
Funeral services for Charles Estep were held Friday at Geary First Baptist Church with burial in the El Reno Cemetery. Services were under direction of Turner Funeral Home.

Mr. Estep died Monday at the Watonga Hospital. He was born June 19, 1921, in Cement. He was a farmer and dairy operator in the Calumet/Geary area. He was a member of the Geary School Board, past worshipful master of the Geary Masonic Lodge and member of Geary First Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, Larry of Watonga; brothers, Elmer and Delmer Estep, both of Lindsay, and Lloyd Estep of Watonga; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Jewitt, Corene Wilkerson (paid)
Graveside services for Corene Wilkerson Jewitt were held Saturday, Feb. 18 in the El Reno Cemetery with Francis Snodgrass officiating. Services were under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home

Mrs. Jewitt died Feb. 14, 2006, at home surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 4, 1910, at Krum, Texas. She was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. She was a teacher of Latin, English and Spanish for 31 years – 21 years in El Reno, four years in Okarche and in other schools. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City.

On Feb. 16, 1940, she married Edwin R. Jewitt. He preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1985.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Brent and Nellie (Tate) Wilkerson; brother, Charles Thomas Wilkerson; and a nephew, Jerry Wilkerson.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Williams and husband, Bruce of Muskogee, Lauri Birkelo of San Antonio and Julie Murdock and husband, Rob of Flower Mound, Texas; and six grandchildren, Rebecca and David Williams, Julie Birkelo and Michael, Matthew and Mark Murdock.
