The Canadian County Health Fair is set for Friday at Redlands Community College.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in RCC’s Occupational Therapy Building. Information will be available on a variety of topics ranging from nutrition to diabetic education to the health benefits of video games. Participants can also get their vital signs checked at no charge, and local vendors will be on hand to provide information about their services.

An optional blood chemistry screening will be available for free from 10 a.m. until noon that will check electrolyte levels, cholesterol, glucose and liver and kidney enzymes.

The annual fair is presented by RCC’s nursing class of 2008 and RCC’s nursing department.
