Minco’s newest horse ranch will hold its grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Triple Cross Ranch, 1208 NE Johnson Road.

The 60-acre ranch off U.S. Highway 81 will host a junior rodeo, children’s area, a team roping clinic and barrel racing clinic to kick off the grand opening nearly a year in the making.

Kathy Menz said she and the staff at the ranch have been working hard since last year’s tornado to put the place back together.
The rolling hills and flat lands are complete with a lighted indoor arena, an outdoor arena, a recently added roping arena, a hot walker, two round pens and over 29,000 square feet of barns.

The festivities on Sunday will begin with Cowboy Church at 10 a.m. with rodeos to follow, Menz said. For more information, go to www.thetriplecrossranch.com.
