Medicine Park was Oklahoma’s first planned tourism resort, built in 1908, mostly of cobblestone. It flourished during the 1920s and ’30s and was frequented by the rich and famous. The community’s numerous shops andgalleries offer American Indian items, woodcrafts, stained glass, pottery, products made in Oklahoma and other novelties.
