Annuschat, Ruth J.
Wake services for Ruth J. Annuschat were held Sunday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at Holy Trinity with Rev. Phillip Louis, Rev. Marvin Leven and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Burial was in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher.

Mrs. Annuschat died Friday at Kingfisher Regional Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Okarche and had lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, Art of the home; sons, Paul, Stanley, Nicholas, Ronald and Lawrence, all of Okarche, and David of Kingfisher; daughters, Vicki Marks of Omega, Sandra Raupe of Okarche, Denise Meyer of Hoxie, Kan., and Jacqueline Walta of Kingfisher; 10 grandsons and six granddaughters.

Bailey, Irma Fae (paid)
Irma Fae (Harrison) Bailey passed away March 17, 2006, in Tulsa. Fae was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Piedmont. She attended El Reno schools through graduation in 1937. She attended Oklahoma City Business College and began her career as a secretary in 1938. She met her future husband, Roy Bailey, in Oklahoma City and they were married Oct. 2, 1938. She began her career at Central National Bank in 1947 and continued working there for 34 years, moving up the ranks to become a vice president and commercial loan officer. In 1981 at age 62, she retired from Central National Bank.

After her retirement from banking, she and her husband began traveling around the country and spending more time with their family. She began bowling on a team and volunteering at Mercy Health Center until 2002. She served many years as treasurer for Mercy Auxiliary and made many friends there as well. After living in Oklahoma City for 56 years, Fae moved to Tulsa in 2002.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband of 49 years, Roy in 1987; daughter-in-law, Diana Lee Bailey in 1986; a brother, two sisters, three brothers-in-law and her special friend, Bill Harwell.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lenice Bailey of Tulsa; two grandsons, Travis Bailey of Chicago, Ill., and Jeremy Bailey of San Antonio, Texas; two step-grandchildren, Joey Bodnar and wife, Melissa of China Spring, Texas, and Angela Timmons and husband, Andrew of Jenks; three sisters, Jimmie Meyer and husband Mervel of El Reno, Hazel Reed of Bakersfield, Calif., and Helen Jo Curtis of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; a brother, Dallas Harrison and wife, Bonnie of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and three step-great-grandchildren, Jacob Bodnar, Bailey Timmons and Brady Timmons. In addition she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper Funeral Home from Friday, March 24 through Saturday morning, March 26. She will be buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, next to her husband. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper Funeral Home, 6006 N. Grand Blvd., Oklahoma City.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to go to Mercy Auxiliary, 4300 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73120, (405) 936-5007, in Fae Bailey’s name.

Carroll, John M. (paid)
Funeral services for John M. Carroll of Yukon will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006, at First Pentecostal Church of God with Pastor Garrett Miller officiating. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Carroll died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born July 30, 1951, in Okarche. John grew up in Lawton and was a graduate of Lawton Eisenhower High School. He was a longtime Canadian County area resident and had worked as an assembler for General Motors. He married Gabriella Fanton on March 20, 2004, in Las Vegas. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and had attended the Baptist church.

Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Carroll, and a sister, Debra Cochran.

Survivors include his wife, Gabriella Maria Carroll of the home; his father, John A. Carroll of El Reno; sister, Phyllis French and husband, James of El Reno; stepsons, Frank Robert Johnson of Norman and Hank Robert Johnson of Tulsa; a stepdaughter, Debbie Ann Johnson of Oklahoma City; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Reding, Henry
Funeral services for Henry C. Reding of Geary were held Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Calumet with Rev. Phil Donohoe officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Geary under direction of Turner Funeral Home.

Mr. Reding died Friday at his home. He was born Oct. 2, 1908, in Geary. He lived and farmed in the Geary community all his life. He was a longtime member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

He is survived by sons, Donald Reding of Geary and Charles Reding of Ardmore; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Rudd, Leona
Wake services for Leona Rudd will be held at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Union City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Services are under direction of Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher.

Mrs. Rudd died Sunday at Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Iowa.

She received a master’s degree in math from the University of Oklahoma. She taught school in Minco, Tonkawa, Texarkana and St. Joseph Orphans School in Bethany.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Dennis of El Reno; a sister, Vera Weisbrod of El Reno; a brother, George Weisbrod Jr. of High Ridge, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Upton, Elizabeth L.
Funeral services for Elizabeth L. Upton of Rogers, Ark., formerly of El Reno, were held today in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John V. Chennault, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the El Reno Cemetery.

Mrs. Upton died Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers. She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Navina. She was a homemaker and member of the Eastern Star, Home Extension Club and First Baptist churches in El Reno and in Sylacuch, Ala.

She is survived by her son, Tom Upton of Rogers; a sister, Lillie Hines of El Reno; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Wilds, Paul Bradley (paid)
Paul Bradley Wilds, 23, of Calumet, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, near Hydro. He was born May 23, 1982, in El Reno to his parents, Mark and Diane (Harman) Wilds of Calumet. Paul grew up in El Reno and attended El Reno Public Schools. He was a 2001 graduate of El Reno High School and a 2003 graduate of Redlands Community College. He was currently attending Oklahoma State University where he was in his senior year studying biological science.

He was a big OSU sports fan, his e-mail address was Poke Fan 4 Life. Both sides of Paul’s family ranch and farm so if he wasn’t helping here, he was helping there with the chores. He was a member of Heaston Community Church.

Paul was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James F. Harman.

Survivors include his parents; his brother, Cody M. Wilds; his maternal grandmother, Leota M. Harman of Calumet; his paternal grandparents, Eldon and Bonnie Wilds of El Reno; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

The family suggests memorials be made to Heaston Community Church, 7501 S. Heaston Road, El Reno, Okla. 73036.

Services were held Wednesday, March 22 at First Baptist Church in El Reno with Rev. A. Burge Troxel, pastor of Heaston Community Church officiating. Burial was in the El Reno Cemetery. Services were under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
