Obituaries for April 19, 2006Chadwick, Orville Sr. Mr. Chadwick died Tuesday at Parkview Hospital. He was born May 9, 1948, in El Reno and was a lifelong El Reno resident. He is survived by his son, Orville Chadwick Jr. of El Reno; daughters, Cassandra Knight and Shannon Hall, both of El Reno, Shelia Spalding of Yukon and Tamara Stewart of Oklahoma City; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. McMahan, Jackson Jackson died Monday. He was born Nov. 11, 2005, in Yukon. O'Nan, Mary Jane (paid) Mrs. O’Nan died April 15, 2006, at The Gardens at Rivermont in Norman. She was born June 28, 1916, in Willow. She was a longtime resident of El Reno and was employed as a cook at Hillcrest Elementary School. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a former member of Red Rock Methodist Church. She was a member of the Pink Ladies of Parkview Hospital Auxiliary and quilted at Wesley United Methodist Church and Sacred Heart Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Strouhal and Adolphie Gurecky Strouhal Griffin; husbands, James E. Morrison and Erle C. O’Nan; son, James E. Morrison; daughters, Jose Ellen Moses and Janet Morrison; and a sister, Emily Knott. She is survived by a son, Ernest Morrison and wife, Kay of Montgomery, Texas; son-in-law, Jesse Moses of Amarillo, Texas; stepdaughter, Juanita Tarver and husband, Newton, of El Reno; brothers, A.C. Strouhal and wife, Margaret, of Lexington and Rudy Strouhal and wife, Meredith of Vancouver, Wash.; sisters, Otylie Griffin and Lydia Webb, both of Norman; seven grandchildren, James E. Morrison and wife, Michelle of Spring, Texas, Jane Ann Sheridan and husband, Donal of Sugar Land, Texas, Ronald A. Morrison and wife, Teloria of Cypress, Texas, Carol Nolan and husband, John of Glendale, Calif., Jeff Moses of Fort Worth, Texas, Julie Johnson of Oklahoma City and David Tarver of El Reno; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was born May 15, 1957, in Hobbs, N.M. She came to El Reno as a small child. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Jeremiah Smith of Oklahoma City; a daughter, LeeAnn Scott of the home; sisters, Kathy Darlene Williams of Texas and Kathy Lee Gibbens and LueAnn Billings, both of El Reno. |
