Obituaries for May 21, 2006Alexander, Oran Mr. Alexander died Thursday at his home in Okarche. He was born Oct. 26, 1922, in Ada. He had been a resident of Oklahoma City for some 40 years prior to moving to Okarche four years ago. Before retirement he was a general contractor in the Oklahoma City area for many years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Holy Trinity Church and American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Rosetta; a son, William J. Alexander of Oklahoma City; and a sister, Ruby Winters of Broken Arrow. Baustert, Paul H. Mr. Baustert died Thursday at Kingfisher Regional Hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1918, in Okarche and was a lifetime resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a farmer and member of Holy Trinity Church, Knights of Columbus and VFW. He is survived by his wife, Mary Agnes; sons, Gary Baustert, Robert Baustert and Michael Baustert, all of Okarche; daughters, Elise Morrow and Elaine Gerber, both of Kingfisher and Sharon Clark of Okarche; a brother, Carlos Baustert of Okarche; sisters, Agnes Halko of Okarche and Fran Davenport of Lake Charles, La.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Lacefield, Willard Lee (paid) Mr. Lacefield passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, after an extended illness at Mercy Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard L. and Beulah Ola Lacefield, and his younger sister, Callie “Kay” Lacefield. He is survived by his wife, Ann of the home; three children, Willard Lee Lacefield Jr. and wife, Gaylene of Chickasha, Amy Ann Lacefield and Kari Dale Lacefield and fiance, David Luschen, all of El Reno; and two grandchildren who he was so proud of, Kelsey LeeAnn and Kaleb Andrew Lacefield, also of Chickasha. He is also survived by his brother, Jack E. Lacefield and wife, Ann of Yukon; sister, Gloria J. Bullock and husband, Darryl of Perry; sister, Glenda L. Lacefield of Bentonville, Ark.; brother, Johnny D. Lacefield and wife, Christy of Arkansas; sister, Sheryl D. Knight and husband, Ronnie of El Reno; and sister, Cynthia A. Lacefield-Hall and husband, Randy of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Mary Churn, and brother-in-law, Peyton Churn and wife, Dana, all of El Reno. Willard also had almost 30 nieces and nephews and over 60 great-nieces and nephews, and a multitude of family and friends. Willard was born on July 13, 1949. He grew up in El Reno and married Ann Hart Churn on June 7, 1968. He was very loyal and committed to his family and very proud of his extended familie' heritage. He loved to tell stories of his childhood and share all his mechanical skills which he learned from his dad. He could fix anything. He liked to go hunting and fishing with his friends but mostly he loved to ride his motorcycle. He was very proud of that big blue Honda. He also became very good at refurbishing motorcycles for the past few years. His garage became quite a gathering place for all his friends and family. The family would like to thank everyone who visited and sent cards and prayers up for Willard. We are all so thankful that God allowed him to be a part of our life for 56 wonderful years. We love him and we’ll miss him, but we know we will see him again in heaven. Parker, Della M. Mrs. Parker died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born April 12, 1927, in Lebanon, Okla. She came to El Reno as a young adult and graduated from El Reno High School. Della M. Martin married Wayne A. Parker on July 15, 1944, in El Reno. She moved to Yukon in 1972. She was a homemaker and amember of the Ranchwood Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. and Effie (Everidge) Martin; brothers, William L. Martin, Wayne Dale Martin and Benny Joe Martin; a sister, Jimmie C. Sossaman; two infant siblings; husband, Wayne A. Parker; and a grandson, Joe Wayne Whitley. Survivors include her daughter, Waynita Bullard of Yukon; sister, Ann Heath of Naples, Fla.; grandson, Martin Bullard of Yukon; and numerous other relatives and friends. Peavler-Bosler, Louise Mrs. Peavler-Bosler died Oct. 27, 2005, in Salida, Colo. She was born April 3, 1914, in Agawam. She graduated from Minco High School in 1931 and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She taught for several years in rural Oklahoma schools and later earned a degree from Western State College in Gunnison, Colo. She became the first woman to teach at the Colorado State Reformatory in Buena Vista, Colo., retiring in 1971. She is survived by sons, Terry Peavler and James Peavler; stepdaughters, Jody Springer, Jerry Watkins and Sheryl McCullough; stepsons, Jim Bosler, Jack Bosler, Tim Bosler, Tom Bosler and David Bosler; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. |
