Dooley, Allan
Prayer services for Allan Lee Dooley were held Tuesday at St. Joseph Church in Union City. Mass of Christian Burial was held today at St. Joseph Church with Revs. Francis Nguyen and Philip Seeton officiating. Services were under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Dooley died Sunday at Mercy Health Center. He was born May 27, 1950, in Ottawa, Ill. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1968. He attended and played varsity football at the University of Montana where he received a bachelor’s degree in 1972. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University, earning his master’s degree in 1975. He was director of health and safety for Kerr McGee Corporation where he had been employed since 1977. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Knights of Columbus and Chemical Manufacturers Association.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy of the home; his parents, LaVerne and Leona Dooley of Ottawa; sons, Lee Dooley of Norman, Zachary Dooley of La Mesa, Calif., and Joshua Dooley of Hanover, N.H.; brothers, Bradford Dooley of Long Grove, Ill., and David Dooley of Parker, Colo.; and a sister, Linda Walter of Marsailles, Ill.

Geary, Cecil
An all-night wake service for Cecil Sterling Geary of Oklahoma City was held Sunday in the Tri-County Building in Geary. Funeral services were held Monday at Rock of Restoration Church with Rev. Gregg Zoschak officiating. Burial was in the Geary Cemetery under direction of Turner Funeral Home.

Mr. Geary died Friday at Integris Baptist Medical Center. He was born Oct. 3, 1949, in Lawton. He graduated from Geary High School and attended Haskell Indian College in Lawrence, Kan. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War where he received a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Rifle Sharp Shooter Badge. He was a member of D.A.V. and Group 101 P.T.S.D.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; three children, Susan Geary of El Reno, Orin Geary of Ponca City and Faye Geary of Oklahoma City; a sister, Jeanette Black of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.

Jackson, Gracie Lee (paid)
Funeral services for Grace “Gracie” Lee Jackson of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Michael Moss officiating. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jackson died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at Grace Living Center. She was born May 5, 1924, in Achille to her parents, John Henry and Martha Ellen (Morris) Thompson. She grew up in Achille. She married John Oliver Jackson on July 4, 1940, in Wade. In 1942 they made their home in El Reno. Gracie enjoyed working as a home health-care professional as a nurses aide. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Jackson, her parents and her sons, Andrew Jackson and Bobby Lee Jackson.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Friesen and husband, Lloyd of El Reno; brothers, Homer Thompson of Santa Paula, Calif., and J.B. Thompson of Modesto, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Beulah Faye Jackson of El Reno; sister-in-law, Clara Williams and husband, Albert of El Reno; four grand- children, Kristi Sambrookes, Andrea Volk, Cherie Jordan and Robert Jackson; and three great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Tyler Presley and Forrest Volk.

Kroll, Leota
Funeral services for Leota Lucille Kroll of Enid will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Central Christian Church with Rev. John McLemore officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kroll died Tuesday in Enid. She was born April 11, 1925, in El Reno and attended El Reno schools. She worked for Douglas Aircraft and also for Dr. H.L. Steffen in Enid for 12 years. She was a member of Central Christian Church where she served as deaconess for many years and was active in the Agape Group and Sooner Sunday school class. She was past president of AAMA and member of American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Jasper; a son, Gary Kroll of Wasilla, Alaska; sister, Bonnye Mendel of Okarche; four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

McWethy, Mildred Mary (paid)
Mildred Mary McWethy, 101, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at her home in Yukon. She was born Aug. 25, 1904, to Bertha Alice (Coil) and Thomas Paul Costello, in Spencerville, Ohio. Mildred attended Kentucky Normal Univer-sity at Bowling Green and received a teaching certificate. She moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, and met Kay Albert McWethy. Mildred and Kay were wed Aug. 26, 1925. The couple made their first home in Anadarko, later they lived on a farm east of Hinton, then lived and worked at Concho Indian School north of El Reno. They had planned to retire to the farm at Anadarko when Kay’s health necessitated a move to El Reno in 1965; he died on May 29, 1965.

Mildred lived a number of years in El Reno before becoming one of the earliest residents of Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon in 1977, where she lived until her death.

Surviving are her three children, Fred Kay McWethy of rural Anadarko, Mildred Louise (McWethy) McKinley of Marlow and Bina Erline (McWethy) Carter of Yukon. One sister, Sabina (Bina) Woodard of Duncan, also survives.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tracy G. McKinley and wife, Linda of Jefferson, Ga., Robin (Jackson) Oldham and husband, David of Oswego, Kan., Dr. Rhett Jackson and wife, Donna of Norman, Rodney Jackson of Yukon and Rhonda Jackson Talley of Yukon. Mildred leaves seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher, Jackson, Madeline, Tag, Stephen and Tabitha.

Preceding Mildred in death were her parents, her husband, one sister, six brothers, son-in-law, Paul O. McKinley and grandson, Brian K. McKinley.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at First United Methodist Church, 400 Elm, Yukon, with Rev. George Gilland officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko. Arrangements are under direction of Yanda and Son Funeral Home.
