Banker, Myrtle
Private services for Myrtle Crump Banker are planned under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Banker died Monday at Grace Living Center in Bethany. She was born July 31, 1914, in West Point, Miss. She was a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women. She worked in admitting and bookkeeping at Central Florida Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1980. She came to Mustang seven years ago from Haines City, Fla. She attended Chisholm Trail Baptist Church in Mustang and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Moose Lodge.

She is survived by a son, Doug Banker of Yukon; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Butler, Franklin D. (Jack) (paid)
On March 31 at 2:35 a.m., Franklin D. (Jack) Butler passed on to heaven to be with his Lord. He was born Dec. 29, 1938, in Florence, Ala., to William Troy and Mattie Viola Butler.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 1/2 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Butler of the home; his daughter, Karen Ricker and husband, Michael of Shawnee; granddaughters, Mercedes and Sierra Ricker, both of Shawnee; a sister, Ruby Eddy of Florence, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Miner E. (Buddy) Butler.

Mr. Butler was a retired owner/operator carpet installer. He attended Southern Heights Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and he loved fishing.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 1, 2008, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Duncan, pastor of Southern Heights Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the El Reno Cemetery.

Hodges, Elizabeth Marlane (paid)
Funeral services for Elizabeth Marlane Hodges will be held this week in Virginia, with burial in the Mustang Cemetery. Services are under direction of W.J. Smith and Son at Langley Air Force Base, Va. Local memorial services are planned for a later date.

Elizabeth was born Feb. 16, 2008, at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Va., and was called home to be an angel for God on March 26, 2008.

She is survived by her parents, former area residents, Donald Jr. and Diana Hodges, and a twin brother, Nicholas Hodges, of the home in Hampton, Va.

Murrow, Keenan
Prayer services for Keenan Murrow of Anadarko were held Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko. Funeral services were held today at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Binger Cemetery.

Mr. Murrow, 50, died Saturday in Oklahoma City. He was employed as a custodian with Gold River Casino in Anadarko.

Wegener, Edward
uneral services for Edward “Clenard” Wegener of Minco will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Minco First Baptist Church with James Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Wegener died Monday in Oklahoma City. He was born July 17, 1918, in Greenfield. He had lived in Minco since 1924. He was a graduate of Minco High School and attended Hills Business College. He was a retired major in the Army, serving during World War II and Korea. He was a turkey and hog farmer and president of Wegener Turkey Inc. He served on the board of NORBEST Turkey Co-op and was active in the National Turkey Federation. He served on the board of the Wegener Foundation and on the Minco City Council. He was a member of Minco Kiwanis and was a past deacon at Tuttle Christian Church.

He is survived by a son, E.C. Wegener of Minco; daughters, Cindy Dickerson of Yukon and Shelley Quiring of Edmond; a brother, Raymond Wegener of Minco; sisters, Edna Ham and Rosemary Fields, both of Tulsa; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Whitlow, Noel
Funeral services for Noel R. Whitlow of Minco were held today at Minco Church of Christ with James Ross officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mr. Whitlow died Sunday in El Reno. He was born July 1, 1913, in Cogar. He had lived in the Cogar-Minco communities all of his life. He was a farmer and a custom combiner, and had also worked as a grass sprigger. He was a member of Minco Church of Christ and served as a deacon for many years.

He is survived by a son, Gene Whitlow of Moore; daughters, Dee Ann Williams of Mustang and Valerie Quast of Minburn, Iowa; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Winkler, William Sr.
Funeral services for William Fredrick Winkler Sr. of Oklahoma City are pending with Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Winkler died Monday at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.
