Lawrence, Roland
Funeral services for Roland M. “Ronnie” Lawrence were held Friday in the Benson Memorial Chapel. Burial was in the El Reno Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Mr. Lawrence died Monday at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 11, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tenn. He lived in Tennessee and Florida before moving to Oklahoma City in 1974. He served in the Army and was employed as a roofer.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Flint Murray, formerly of El Reno; a son, Joey C. Murray of Oklahoma City; and daughters, Vickie Blackwell of Slaughterville and Patricia Murray of Oklahoma City.

Morse, Tommy Edward (paid)
Graveside services for Tommy Edward Morse of Midwest City, formerly of El Reno, were held Saturday in the El Reno Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Van Horn of Oklahoma City and Rev. Doc Masher of Midwest City officiating. His ashes were interred at the grave of his mother.

Tommy is the son of the late Thomas Morse and Edith Nail. He was born Oct. 31, 1967. He died April 11, 2008, at his home from congestive heart failure. His life was plagued with health issues from age 4. Now he is free and in no pain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother, Randy, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tommy married Gladys Todd in 1992 and she survives him, as do his siblings, Susan Rust of Nevada, Mike Morse of South Dakota and Ronnie Morse of Oklahoma City; uncle, Alvin Morse of El Reno; aunts; Ethel Seher of Oklahoma City, Kathleen Hailey of Wyoming, Rose Rodriquez of Hawaii and Vera Mae Morse of El Reno; his foster grandmother, Juanita Wilkerson, also of El Reno, and her extended family; niece, Summer Garas of El Reno; nephews, Robbie Booth of Tulsa and Tanner and Dyllan Rust of Nevada; as well as three great-nieces, one great-nephew and one unborn great-nephew; many cousins and a host of friends, including his best friend since grade school, David Rothrock of Kansas, and his roommates, Terry and Johnny.

Rice, Dorothy
Dorothy Jean Rice of Union City died Wednesday at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Services will be announced at a later date and will be under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
