Goddard, Arthur
Funeral services for Arthur “Art” Goddard will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Scott Baptist Church in Hinton with burial in the Niles Cemetery.

Mr. Goddard died Monday in Allen. He was born Sept. 7, 1922.

Harjo, Damion (paid)
Funeral services for Damion Ray Harjo of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Kurtz, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Union City. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Damion died Friday, April 18, 2008, in a car accident in Oklahoma City. He was born June 6, 1996, in El Reno.

Memorials may be made to the Richards/Harjo Support Trust at MidFirst Bank in El Reno.

Hunt, Jo Ann (paid)
Funeral services for Jo Ann Hunt of Oklahoma City, formerly of El Reno, were held Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Van Horn officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunt died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born May 5, 1933, in Banner. Jo Ann was a lifetime Canadian County area resident and had worked for Hensley’s Restaurant. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God where she was very active. She loved going to church and all the church activities. She was a loving and kind mother and will be greatly missed by her daughter and all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Reece and Sarah Ann (Bruce) Hulbert; son-in-law, Jeff Moody; sister, Ruth Marie Soverign; and brother, Ralph Elmo Hulbert.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianna Moody of Oklahoma City; brother, Charles Hulbert and wife, Lillian of Broken Arrow; sister, Lois Blackburn and husband, Bob of Madera, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

James, Clinton Jr.
Private funeral services for Clinton D. James Jr. of Oregon House, Calif., formerly of El Reno, will be held under direction of Holycross Memorial Services in Yuba City, Calif.
Mr. James died Sunday at Rideout Hospital in Marysville, Calif. He was born April 13, 1971, in Okarche. He was employed as a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie McClintock of Oregon House, Calif.

Penrod, Elsie
Funeral services for Elsie P. Penrod were held today at Geary Church of Christ with Gerald Beasley officiating. Burial was in the Geary Cemetery under direction of Turner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Penrod died Sunday. She was born June 24, 1924, in Mineral Wells, Texas. She had been a resident of Geary since 1937. She was a member of Geary Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Thompson of Bells, Texas; sons, Dan Penrod and Joe Penrod, both of Geary; brothers, Allen Gilbert of Wichita, Kan., Frank Gilbert of Geary and Bob Gilbert of Lithia, Ga.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Richards, Paul
Funeral services for Paul Richards of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Kurtz, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Union City. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Richards died Friday in Oklahoma City. He was born Nov. 8, 1969, in Dallas.
