Krouter, Carl
Memorial services for Carl Krouter of Courtside, Ariz., are pending with Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Krouter died Thursday at his home.

Pugh, Elmer D. (paid)
Funeral services for Elmer D. Pugh were held Friday, May 11, 2007, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Bohanon officiating. Burial was in the El Reno Cemetery.

Elmer D. Pugh of Union City was born to John and Lola (Thomas) Pugh on Sept. 6, 1941, in El Reno. We know that heaven was a happier place on May 8, 2007, when he arrived. Elmer was formerly of El Reno but had lived in Union City since 1982. He was a retired mechanic for the city of Oklahoma City. Mr. Pugh attended Crossroads Church in Oklahoma City. He had served in the Army for eight years. Elmer married Charlotte Eichor on March 6, 1959, in Minco.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Pugh of the home; a son, Johnny Dexter Pugh and wife, Jerri of Geary; a daughter, Lisa Jean Pugh of Noble; sisters, Jan Gazaway of Ponca City and Pam Lerdal of Alabama; grandchildren, William Tagert Pugh and Sadie Rae Pugh; and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Roach, Lois
Funeral services for Lois Dean Roach of Minco were held Friday at First Baptist Church of Minco with Rev. Steve Shellhammer officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Dell Cemetery under direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mrs. Roach died Tuesday at her home. She was born Dec. 13, 1938, in Minco and lived in the community her entire life. She was a homemaker and member of Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, J. Roach of the home; a daughter, Janie Osborn of Minco; brothers, Jack Putman of Minco, Willard Oaks of Union City and Dewayne Oaks of Verden; a sister, Eleanor Barber of Eufaula; and four granddaughters.

Schwarz, Mary
Prayer service for Mary Schwarz of Okarche will be held at 7 p.m. today at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity. Services are under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Schwarz died Friday at her home.

Woods, Patricia A. (paid
Prayer service for Patricia A. Woods was held Friday, May 11 in the Benson Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Union City with Revs. Francis Nguyen, Thomas Boyer and Eric Stock officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Woods died May 9, 2007, at her home in Union City. She was born Oct. 30, 1941, in Prescott, Wis. She was a graduate of Prescott High School. She had lived in Union City since 1969. She provided day care for children in her home for many years and later was a receptionist for Reserve National Insurance for 16 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She married George Robert “Pete” Woods on May 13, 1961. Pete survives her in death.

She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Angela Woods of Union City; daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Andy Meiwes of Piedmont, Kathy Woods and Angie Johns, both of Union City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Rita Stern of Prescott, Wis., and Ken and Barb Stern of Spooner, Wis.; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Killian of Prescott, Wis.; grandchildren, Kristin Williams, Glenn Meiwes, George Meiwes, Chad Meiwes, Riley Woods, M’Kynna Woods, Taytim Woods, Peter Dawson Woods and Alycia Johns; and a great-grandchild, Conner Meiwes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. and Marie F. (King) Stern; a daughter, Pamela Woods; son-in-law, Tim Johns; and brothers, Jim and John Stern.
