Haraughty, Timothy DeWayne (paid)
Memorial graveside services for Timothy DeWayne Haraughty of El Reno will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 22, in the El Reno Cemetery with Rev. Paul Roach, pastor of Faith Family Church officiating. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Tim died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his parents, D.F. “Mutt” and Ruby (Money) Haraughty. Tim lived in several places including Lindsay before moving to El Reno in 1969. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea. While serving in the Army, he received his GED. Tim had worked for Darrow Productions in El Reno, where he made woodworking craft kits, and El Reno Auto Auction. He was currently working for Ozzie’s Motor Company in Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patsy Kinney.
He is survived by his sister, Peggy Callahan of El Reno; nieces, Jenny Williams and Mary Griggs, both of El Reno, Staff Sgt. Erin Callahan of Buffalo, N.Y., Tracy Szymanski of Happy, Texas, and Susie Harrison of Grand Junction, Mo.; a nephew, Danny Kinney of Kanab, Utah; five great-nieces and four great-nephews; a cousin, Jackie Davis of Duncan; and special friends, Tena McMurtray and Era Faye Frazier, both of El Reno, Gene Palmer and Vernon Blankenship, both of Oklahoma City.

The family suggests memorials be made to The Lord’s Harvest, 216 S. Rock Island, El Reno, Okla. 73036.

Sides, Justin
Funeral services for Justin Todd Sides of Weatherford were held June 13 at First Baptist Church in Weather-ford with Scott Page officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.

Justin died June 9 in Weatherford. He was born July 16, 1988, in Springfield, Mo. He was raised in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School in 2007. He was on the baseball All-Stars Western Oklahoma team and was co-running back in Class 4A football. He was enrolled at Southwestern Oklahoma State University with plans to major in history as well as coaching. He was employed with Fast Lane and attended the Servants Heart Church.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Tommy and Sherry Sides of Weatherford; his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Craig Hill of Oklahoma City; brothers, Korey Sheperd and Garrett Sides, and sisters, Kristin Sides and Kayla Sides, all of the home; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Kathy Funck of El Reno; paternal grandparents, Melva Sides of Weatherford and Rev. Terrill and Patricia Parvin of Ringwood; maternal great-grandparents, Merrill and Joyce Nance and Nelda Funck, all of El Reno; and paternal great-grandmother, Muriel Roby of Weatherford.

Snelling, Walter F. (paid)
Funeral services for Walter F. Snelling of El Reno will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2007, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Roach, pastor of Faith Family Church officiating. Burial will be in the Canadian Valley Cemetery north of Calumet.
Mr. Snelling died Friday, June 15, 2007, at his daughter’s home in Yukon. He was born Feb. 21, 1947, in El Reno. He was a lifetime El Reno area resident and a 1966 graduate of El Reno High School. He married Carrie Miller on May 23, 1975, in Banner. He was a farmer and attended First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. Snelling and Louise (Zweiacher) Snelling, sisters, Anabell Bishop and Bina Fowler; and a great-niece, Megan Fowler.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carrie Snelling of the home; a daughter, Dona Snelling Lake of Yukon; a son, Jason Snelling of El Reno; brothers, Billy and Danny Snelling, both of El Reno, Jay Snelling of Oklahoma City and Otis Snelling and wife, Margie of Shelbyville, Tenn.; sister, Regena Williams of El Reno; his boss and fellow worker for over 40 years, Gary Evans and wife, Margaret of El Reno; and numerous other relatives and friends.
