Draper, Betty Jean (paid)
Betty Jean Draper of El Reno died June 27, 2007, at her home. She was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Calumet to Fred and Sophia (Shier) Leck. Betty grew up in Calumet and was a lifetime area resident. She was a member of First Christian Church of Calumet. She was the former owner of the El Reno Tag Agency and had served as manager of 81 Storage since 1995.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Eunice Steffen, and brothers, Albert and Rudolph Leck.

Betty is survived by her son, Greg Draper and wife, Therese of Edmond; her daughter, Candice Hoff of Oklahoma City; sisters, Sophie Quigley of Hinton, Wilma Cavins of El Reno, Helen Tash of Huntsville, Ala., and Martha Smith of Marina, Calif.; grandchildren, Patrick Hoff and Shannon Stoddard, both of Oklahoma City, Crystal Draper and Britni Draper, both of Dallas, and Amber Draper of Norman; and great-grandchildren, Nickolas Sassi and Alexandra Sassi, both of Oklahoma City.

Viewing and visitation was held on Thursday and Friday at Wilson Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Lung Association Tuberculosis Research, 3160 W. Britton Road, Suite E, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73120.

Sanders, Virgie
Word has been received of the death of Virgie Sanders of Blanchard. Mrs. Sanders died Friday at Colonial Manor Estates in Guthrie. She was born and raised in El Reno.

Funeral services are pending.

Vieweg, Georgia Viola (paid)
Memorial services for Georgia Viola Vieweg of Union City will be held by her family at a later date.

Georgia died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Parkview Hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in El Reno. She was a lifetime Canadian County area resident. Mrs. Vieweg was a homemaker and a retired paper hanger. She attended First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Hattie (Wiedman) Cook; brothers, Beryl, Charlie, Howard, Carroll, Vernon and LeRoy Cook; and sisters, Gladys Robbins, Mabel Barcus, Verna Rogers, Ruth Cook, Eleanor Cook and Violet Cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Lagaly and husband, Leo of Union City; sons, Albert P. Vieweg Jr. and Robert A. Vieweg and wife, Margaret, all of El Reno; stepdaughter, Carol Muhs and husband, Harold of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; sister, Nelda Funck of El Reno; sister-in-law, Vonda Cook of El Reno; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Wildman, Lester
Memorial services for Lester Lynde Wildman will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Tulsa. Services are under direction of Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow.

Mr. Wildman died Friday in Tulsa. He was born June 23, 1928. He was a retired vice president for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, Tulsa district.
