Obituaries for July 25, 2007Constien, George Mr. Constien died Friday at his home. He was born Sept. 4, 1924, in Hinton. He moved to El Reno in 1980. He was a World War II Army veteran and was employed as a farmer, electrical and plumbing contractor and a real estate broker. He was a member of the El Reno VFW and Trinity Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Viola of the home; children, Margie Meyer of Kokomo, Ind., David Constien of Little Rock, Ark., and Marie Mason of Oklahoma City; brothers, Elmer Constien of Rockwell, Texas, and Harold Constien of Yukon; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Cox, Darrell Mr. Cox died Sunday at his home. He was born Oct. 30, 1929, on the family home place west of Union City and grew up in the El Reno area. He graduated from El Reno High School. He lived in Beaver before moving to Wichita, Kan., in 1953 and later to Rosston in 1959. He moved to Woodward in 1997. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a charter member of the National Cattlemen’s Association and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, serving 13 years as the chairman of the Brand and Theft Committee. Mr. Cox received many awards and plaques for his work and dedication to the association and the Pony Express. He was a member of General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Woodward. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn of the home; children, Kary Cox of Bartlesville, Terrina Rieann and Geannei Butler, both of Houston, Ray Cramer of Floris and Sandy Reidle of Woodward; a brother, Virgil Cox; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Eden, Carolyn Mrs. Eden died Sunday at Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in Yukon. She was born Feb. 15, 1950, in El Reno and was a lifetime El Reno area resident. She had worked as a waitress and at the Hub Reed baseball field in the concession stand. She attended First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by sons, J.R. Choat of Seattle, Wash., Carl Brincefield of Oklahoma City and Michael Baker of Silverdale, Wash.; daughters, Brenda Jordan and Leanna Baker of Hemet, Calif., and Karen Choat of Modesto, Calif.; brothers, Verlin Fairchild Jr. and Allen Fairchild, both of Cedar Lake; a sister, Deanna Wright of Cushing; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Johnson, Dolly Dimple (paid) Dolly Dimple Johnson was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Clinton to T.P. Evans Sr. and Bertha B. Evans. She graduated from Excelsior School. She married John W. McBrayer in 1957. Of this union she was blessed with five children. She attended nursing school and worked in that field for over 40 years. She relocated to Springfield, Mo., in 1977, where she later married Bobby Johnson. She leaves behind to mourn two sons, Johnny McBrayer and Cecil McBrayer and wife, Rosemary; a daughter-in-law, prayer partner and best friend, Tina McBrayer of Springfield; three daughters, Carolyn Hill and husband, Larry of Tipton, Sonya Thompson of Springfield and Christina Overton and husband, Carl, also of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Latasha McBrayer, C.J. and Matthew McBrayer, Anthony McBrayer and Jaylen Overton, all of Springfield, Denoya Sharper McBrayer of South Carolina and Chavon Thompson and Chaterra, both of Oklahoma City; four great-grandsons, Quentel, Tiana, Isaiah and Demar; five brothers, Marvin Evans of Houston, Texas, Charles and Eddie Evans of Springfield, Joseph Evans of El Reno and Alfred Evans of Oklahoma City; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, four brothers and a great-grandchild, Mario. |
