Brawner, Kelvin
Services for Kelvin Lewis Brawner are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Benson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

He died Thursday at Parkview Hospital.

Mr. Brawner was born Feb. 16, 1961, in Enid and graduated from El Reno High School. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard and worked for Dexter Axle before becoming disabled.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Lacefield of El Reno; five brothers, Charles Brawner, Lester Brawner and Gary Lacefield, all of El Reno, and Robert Brawner and Terry Brawner of Edmond; and Linda Brinker of Temple.

Cleghorn, Rudolph H. (paid)
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Rudolph H. Cleghorn of El Reno will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Phillip Donohoe will officiate. Interment of cremains will be at a later date in the Cleghorn Cemetery in Red Rock. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Cleghorn died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, in the Veterans Hospital in Clinton. He was born Aug. 6, 1922, in Red Rock. He was a graduate of Morrison High School and received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Kansas. Rudolph H. Cleghorn married Josie (Tafoya) Church on Dec. 27, 1958.

They came to El Reno in 1960 and resided here since. He served in the Seabees in the Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. In 1991, Mr. Cleghorn was appointed by President George Bush to be on the Federal Counsel of the Aging, and in 1994 he was reappointed by President William Jefferson Clinton. Rudolph retired from the Bureau of Prisons where he had been a parole officer. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Legion and the and VFW.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Emmett and Vera (Woodall) Cleghorn, and a grandson, Christopher Braden Church.

Survivors include his wife, Josie Cleghorn; a son, Phillip L. Church and wife, Marilee, of El Reno; a daughter, Carol Wilson, and husband, Andrew, of El Reno; five grandchildren, Phillip Leighton Church, Heidi Curtis and husband, Dallas, Beau Clark, Christina Clark and Heather Clark; two great-grandchildren, Dexter Clark and Aubrey Flowers; and numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5400 N. Grand Blvd. Ste. 255, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.

Lime, Maurice Jr.
Wake services for Maurice Lime Jr. of Canton were held Thursday at Canton Christian Church. Funeral services were held Friday at the Canton School Multi-Purpose Building with Steve Driskill and Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial was in the Mennonite Indian Cemetery under direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home of Canton.

Mr. Lime died Monday at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born Dec. 1, 1938, south of Canton. He attended school in Canton and at Concho Boarding School. He had worked as a security guard and later as a law enforcement officer for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He also worked for Wheeler Brothers Grain Co. for 18 years, retiring in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene of the home; eight children, Darwin Lime and Timothy Lime, both of Woodward, Derwin Lime of Oklahoma City, Diane Willis, Judy Lime and Daryl Williams, all of Watonga, Betty Ruiz of Purcell and Marlene Reyes of El Reno; brothers, George Poolaw of Oklahoma City and Buddy Bates of El Reno; sisters, Bobbie Simpson of Geary, Christine Little Raven of Canton, Ruth Good Blanket of Clinton, Mary Louise Meeks of Shawnee and Georgette and Beverly Childs, both of Red Rock; 36 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Willingham, Vickie Lynn (paid)
Services for Vickie Lynn Willingham were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Benson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darryl Bullock officiating. Burial was in El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday in Baggs, Wyo.

She was born March 1, 1964, in Okarche.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jerri Kay Willingham; grandmothers, Rose Willingham and Iona Daniel; and grandfathers, Charles Bullock and Austin Willingham.

Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Becky Bullock Willingham of El Reno; her son, Tyler Willingham of El Reno; her daughter, Haley Willingham of El Reno; her boyfriend, Stanley West of Baggs; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Tracy Willingham of El Reno; her sisters, Tina Renee Willingham of El Reno; her nephews, Ryan Chapman, Jayton Willingham and Hayden Willingham; her niece, Erica Fleenor and husband, Brad; and her grandniece, Rylan Fleenor.
