Wintery blast pushes Christmas parade to Monday

A winter storm has prompted El Reno officials to postpone the annual Christmas on the Western Frontier, which was set for Thursday night.

The festivities are now set for Monday night with all the same activites on the same schedule.

Free children's craft projects will be available from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the CASA office, 110 S. Rock Island.

The parade will start at 6 p.m. with the tree-lighting at 7 p.m. in Petree Plaza.

Downtown businesses will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
